Crofton has become so popular and commuting routes to DC, Baltimore and Fort Meade have been so greatly improved that this tiny community has flourished and spread to a city of 22,000 occupants. You'll find some of the areas best shopping along with great parks, schools and recreational activities within minutes of your doorstep. Real estate prices in Crofton have more than doubled in the period between 2000 and 2006 2007 and 2008 have brought some pretty significant decreases in real estate value making this community more affordable to more families.
